      Fun, exciting, and sometimes challenging!

I spend a lot of time creating solutions to solve complex or difficult problems. This can be really difficult, but when I’ve figured something out it makes me really happy! To see it then produced and be used is even more satisfying.

You can always be busy, with the type of engineering we do the industry is every changing so you need to keep learning. There are always other ways of achieving the design output so this needs to be looked at, working with other people in teams (not just engineers) will give you experience and perspective – this will aid you in your own engineering.
It is constantly moving and if you like that, you can really enjoy it.

Its exciting, tiring and challenging, but mostly fulfilling. When you work on something and can look back at what you have achieved, it really makes you happy.

Every job is different, the variety of work is the best thing and using your skills to solve the problems people and companies have can be very rewarding

I think there is a lot of personality and environment into how engineering works out. The opportunities, disciplines, and, work places environment as so diverse it would be a shame to just mention one thing for all. Engineering is certainly fun, especially when you are good at it, enjoy continuously being good/learning, and enjoy overcoming challenges.
